What Canapolis Water Park includes

Canapolis is the water park feature shared by Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, two connected resort towers under the same Hyatt all-inclusive complex. It opened in 2019 and includes a lazy river with a grotto-style waterfall cascade, water cannons, five water slides, and a dedicated splash pad for smaller kids. It is generally considered one of the better-built resort water parks in the Cap Cana area.

Ziva versus Zilara

The Hyatt Cap Cana complex has two sides. Hyatt Ziva is the family-friendly tower, where all ages can use Canapolis. Hyatt Zilara is the adults-only, 18-plus side of the same property. Both are on the same grounds, but the age policy differs by which tower you book, so confirm which one you are staying at if a working water park for kids is a priority.

No public day pass

Canapolis is not bookable as a standalone attraction. Access is included in the all-inclusive rate for guests of either Hyatt tower, and there is no separate ticket sold to non-guests, unlike El Dorado Water Park or Caribbean Lake Park, which anyone can book directly.

If you are not staying at Hyatt Cap Cana

El Dorado Water Park sits just outside the Cap Cana community and is open to the public with a paid ticket, from about $129, with more than 20 attractions and its own dedicated kids zone. For the complete picture of what is public versus guest-only around Cap Cana, see our Cap Cana water parks guide.
